Design Struct develops a project specific safety plans (Project Safety Plan) for
each project that we are involved in, ensuring full compliance with worksafe
requirements. This is inclusive of inspection and test plans, scheduled safety
meetings, inspection records, registers for recording site activity and
procedural guidance for specific events.
Further to the development of project safety plans, job safety analysis
documents are required by our company policy to be completed for all activities
in which there is an elemant of risk. These are required to be completed to an
exceedingly high standard and are overseen by our Construction Manager.
Design Struct also has a comprehensive Health Safety and Environment Management
Plan that can be viewed within our office at any time.
Code of Practice and Regulations on Tilt-Up and Precast Construction
In November 2004, Worksafe Western Australia Commission developed a code of
practice in conjunction with industry practitioners that provide regulatory
guidance on the casting, transportation, rigging, lifting, propping and securing
of pre-cast concrete panels. In addition to our health and safety policy, Design
Struct have designed their current quality and safety plans around full
compliance with the act. |
